Do these podcasts fall under "General" or "Weirdos" or maybe just "General Weirdos"?

  2. Bay Says:

Lady Raptastic is — oh my gah — fabulous!!! I feel like I've found a new friend. Thank you so much for that recommendation — and thank you so much for being so kind to us general weirdos at Grits to Glitz! We can only hope to be as fabulous as you and Rob are someday.

  3. Sara Says:

Ok you two, for the record, the Weirdos category choice was mostly for the woman playing the recorder while she drove…but I'd be happy to lump you guys in with her if you want. 😉

  4. Amy Says:

Well, Bay, I don't know about you, but I'm a little dissatisfied with the "general weirdo" label. I've been concentrating on the Crazy Bird Lady major under the weirdness curriculum. Alas, since there is no Crazy Bird Lady category on this blog, I'll have to settle for General Weirdo. ("Settle"? Hardly! I'm honored, of course!)

What if I played a recorder for my birds while I drove? Would that justify a new category?

  5. Erica Says:

Hey guys, loved the show! I just about died when you both did the sing-song voices. Feel free to post my little Pepper and her favorite beverage. Can't get enough of you two!!

  6. Bryan Says:

Who needs to do crunches when you can listen to Lady Raptastic, Ho?

Also, once I was in a traffic jam…so I decided to practice my flute in the car. However, it was at night so fewer people could see me. (I believe someone got a ticket for practicing while actually driving though – crazy flutists.) That was back before the days when I could entertain myself with you in my car.
P.S. Your delivery of the "you might also like batteries" was marvy.

Just listened to episode 18 (I'm still catching up after vacation and the sudden death of my MP3 player), and wanted to pipe in about the much-loved Recommendation feature on ITunes and Amazon. A related internet invention is Pandora individualized radio:
    http://www.pandora.com/

You input musicians and songs that you like, and it generates a custom radio station for you.

Oh! And! I'm assuming y'all know about Bloglines, the free blog-aggregator, but did you know that you can see what blogs other people subscribe to? For HMDWL, my Bloglines says there are 5 subscribers. If you click on that, you get just me 🙂 because I'm the only public one. But you can do it with other blogs you like and 1) see into other people's lives by the blogs they read (and how they organize them) 2) learn about other cool blogs you might not have known about. I guess this is all silly since blogs are so a million-years-ago, and podcasts are so now.
